A casket spray is usually given by the spouse or children of the deceased, a co-ordinating wreath or standing spray given by others in the immediate family. A fireside basket or tribute arrangement, are other suitable arrangements for immediate family.
Other family members can give sprays that compliment the family pieces. Ribbons/banners can be added with script that defines the relationship, example when the wife gives a casket spray, the ribbon may read “Loving Husband”, from the children it may read “Beloved Father”. Friends, colleagues, neighbors can give the tribute arrangements or a sidetable arrangement. A sidetable arrangement is an arrangement suitable for someone in the family to take home after, it is not “funeral” in style, often more of contemporary design.
